Who We Are

 

                                 

The Neuroblastoma Alliance (NB Alliance) is a group of pediatric cancer fundraising and advocacy organizations that collaborate to support innovative neuroblastoma research and clinical trials. We are dedicated to funding practical, relevant Phase I and II clinical trials which are led by the neuroblastoma research team at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and the collaborators of the nmtrc. We also focus on speed and options for kids, by bringing new therapies to the bedside NOW for the patients that need them most - those with advanced relapsed or refractory neuroblastoma. These are the hard cases that many of researchers overlook.

Meeting in October 2007 of parents and researchers at UVM - a pre-cursor to today's NB Alliance. All of the parent advocates in this photo paid for their own travel and lodging to attend this meeting and all subsequent meetings. Not a single penny of donations go to support travel, marketing or overhead for their respective foundations or for the Alliance.
